SDSSU Linkaged with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) - Knowledge Resource Collection (KRC)

Last July 11, 2018, SDSSU Library in partnership with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Knowledge Resource Collections (KRCs) launched the BSP publications such as books, journals, reports, guides, manuals, primer brochures & online databases. The said program shall tap public and private libraries nationwide as venues to promote greater public understanding of essential economic and financial concepts and issues. The Network shall be composed of libraries of local government units (LGUs), national government agencies, and universities/colleges located nationwide.
The program was attended by the key officials of SDSSU headed by Dr. Gerry B. Estrada, VPAA & Chairman, Library Board Committee, Mr. Roel T. Lim, HRMO, Mrs. Catherine F. Salomon, BOR secretary, Mrs. Glizriel Rose Z. Quijada, Bank Officer II-BSP Butuan, Deans of the different colleges, faculty and library personnel headed by the Director of Libraries Mrs. Aida C. Osorio, MSLS. Mr. Roel T. Lim formally opened the program with his warm welcome message. Followed by the brief discussion of Mrs. Glizriel Rose Z. Quijada about what KRN is all about and its implementation. After that, Dr. Gerry B. Estrada gives a message about the event, followed by the ribbon cutting and turn-over ceremony. Mrs. Aida C. Osorio, the head librarian formally closed the program by her closing message. It was a quite well accomplished activity.
