On October 11, 2019, 57 participants attended the Field Day conducted at SDSSU-San Miguel Campus with collaboration with the Department of Agriculture Regional and Provincial Office. Farmers from San Miguel and Mr. Elmer E. Enicola the Program leader of the ongoing Soybeans project of DOST-PCAARRD also attended the said event. As part of the activity, the participants had a tour where the crops were planted mainly consist of Soybeans, Corn, Sorghum, Peanuts which is part of the Soybeans Project to maintain and improve soil fertility by planting multiple crops. The farm was managed by Mr. Achilles L. Belarmino who is also the project study leader of Component 2 of Soybeans Project, with the helped of the Farmer Scientist of the project.
