In a significant stride towards fostering collaboration and unity, the Roman Catholic Bishop of Tandag, Inc. and North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) have officially entered into a Usufruct Agreement. The agreement was sealed with the generous grant from the Bishop, offering over a thousand square meters of land to NEMSU Cagwait Campus for the construction of a pathway along the road leading to the campus entrance.

This pivotal move is set to benefit not only the students and employees of NEMSU Cagwait Campus but also various stakeholders involved in the educational journey. The granted land will facilitate improved accessibility, creating a seamless and welcoming entrance to the campus.

Bishop Raul Dael, the visionary behind this collaborative effort, emphasized the importance of building bridges and roads rather than walls. In his statement, he encouraged continued collaboration, urging both institutions to explore more creative avenues for mutual cooperation. "Let us build bridges and roads, not walls. We can continue to collaborate and find areas where we can creatively collaborate more. This is a very good experience of walking together," remarked Bishop Dael.

President Nemesio Loayon of NEMSU expressed his deep gratitude for the support received during this milestone.
