The North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) recently took a significant step forward in its commitment to excellence and quality assurance by convening a Management Review as part of its ISO proceedings on March 5, 2024, at the NEMSU Old Board Room. Presided over by Dr. Nemesio G. Loayon, University President III, the meeting brought together key officials and leaders of the university.

Among the attendees were Dr. Maria Lady Sol A. Suazo, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Rolly G. Salvaleon, Vice President for Research and Extension, campus directors from various NEMSU campuses, directors, college deans, and other unit heads representing the seven (7) NEMSU campuses.

Throughout the meeting, the participants engaged in fruitful discussions, delving into crucial topics important to NEMSU's continuous improvement journey. They meticulously reviewed the findings and results stemming from the ISO 9001:2015 Comprehensive Internal Audit, emphasizing the importance of adherence to standards and the availability of requisite documentation as evidence of process adherence.

The proceedings also underscored the paramount importance of assessing the extent of conformity of each unit, college, and campus to ISO 9001:2015 standards. This thorough examination serves as a basis for identifying areas of improvement and intervention, essential for maintaining the university's commitment to enhancing efficiency, elevating standards, and refining the very core of operations.

As the proceedings drew to a close, it was unanimously ascertained that the seven NEMSU campuses, alongside the university as a whole, will prepare for the upcoming ISO 9001:2015 2nd Surveillance Audit this May.
